Round 4 at GDS Designer Contest

Well I made it round 4. I'm super excited and depressed at the same time. I did my kit but misread the deadline and missed it. But I submitted it to the play-along anyway so you can still download the kit. I'm not happy with the alpha so I will be redoing it before it goes in the store but the rest of the kit is awesome if I do say so myself. Enjoy and please let me know what you think. Round 2 GDS Designer Contest Kit and Freebie Add-On

Sorry to be so late loading this up but I kind of struggled a little with it. What to make, the bright colors, learning a new program...yes, I broke down and joined the Photoshop CS6 world, should it be realistic, doodles, the list goes on. But in the end I made it with 4 hours to spare. LOL!!!! I think it turned out pretty good.

I settled with a tropical beach theme. Going to Hawaii has long been on my bucket list and I'm happy to say that I'm almost there. When I think of Hawaii, I think of tropical plants, tiki mask, surfing, the hula dance,  pretty little girly cocktails in coconut glasses, and the BEACH. I hope you all will enjoy it as much I did making it for you.

iNDS Scavenger Hunt

Beginning May 4 and each day during iNSD, I will post a hint to an item in the store, gallery, or a forum thread that will lead you to the next clue and the next (3 clues total each day). At the end of the hunt you will be asked to do a task, could be pick a favorite kit, leave x number of comments in the gallery, post a layout, introduce yourself....always something simple and post whatever your task was back here in that day's thread for a prize...could be a kit, coupon, a Quick Page, Cluster Element, etc.

Miss a day or are unable to figure out the clue without additional hints (I will give these out if I see people are having problems figuring out the clues), don't worry. You will have until May 8 at midnight to complete all the task requested. Everyone who completes all the task will be entered into a grand prize drawing where 1 lucky winner will get the kit of choice from my store and another lucky winner will be able to have a kit designed especially for and named by them.

Add to that anyone who participates and post a LO on the day a LO is requested in this thread and the iNSD 2012 Berrylicious Events Gallery will not only get that day's prize:) but if they do use 100 percent BSS products they will be put into a drawing of for a 10.00 GC for the store,They are 4 up for grabs.:) You must link up to the BSS Designer in the store and such to be put into the drawing so we can make sure they used 100 percent BSS.

At Berry Sweet Scrap we have a wonderful group of CT's. They are always making the most awesome LO's. So Today I am so HAPPY to share with you a LO Landi made the Calendar Challenge over at Berry Sweet Scrap.

And believe me, they do so much for their designers and stores. So all the thanks they get is the comments we leave them.

Freebie Time

I can't believe it's already March and Spring is almost here. While it's still unseasonably cold in the morning here, it is warming up in the afternoon to almost normal. I can't wait until it's warm enough for shorts. March has always held a few special days for our family. First, is my DD's birthday and second is St. Patty's Day. These are always followed up by the official opening of Spring and Spring Break along with the beach. So to celebrate how about a couple of freebies.
