Changes and a Freebie

Sorry I've been MIA for a couple of weeks. I've had to deal with some personal family issues which hopefully have been resolved and store drama at Berry Sweet Scraps.

If there is one thing that I can't stand it's DRAMA. And if there's one thing that I hate to deliver is bad news. So it saddens me that I have to share this with you. For reasons that do not involve me, Berry Sweet Scraps has closed it's door. I received an email one day that one of the owners was leaving the store and the next day it was closed. No explanations from the owner except what you can read at one of the smack forums and I don't read then. I want to apologize to those who did my challenge this month but did not receive their posting bonus. So I have decided to make the posting bonus a freebie for one week only on my blog.
On a brighter note, I also want to let you know that I have already found a new home and will be making announcements soon regarding my grand opening there.

I Spy Challenge at Berry Sweet Scraps & a Freebie

Customer Appreciation Days are in full swing over that Berry Sweet Scraps. We are having a blast there and time is quickly running out if you haven't gotten into the action yet. My Make a Wish game is super simple. Want to get one of my kits for free???? It's easy go to my store and pick out what you would like to have. Come back to this thread in the forum, post a picture of the kit and the link and start crossing your fingers and toes. I will be picking random winners off and on during the week to get their wishes filled. So starting wishing.

My I Spy Challenge is a little more difficult but everyone who plays wins here.  Ever play the game I Spy as a child? As a grandparent, I still get to play the game quiet often with my little man. We have lots of giggles and belly laughs over his little games and need to win.

So I was thinking how about an I Spy game at BSS, in the store, gallery, and forum....To make it a little easier I will tell you which area I'm looking at like gallery, whose store, etc. Some items I'm looking for may be your introduction in the forum or where you've introduced yourself to someone else. All easy task (remember I'm used to playing this with a 5 y/o so my clues are easy).

At the end of the game, pm me a list of your answers with links and you received a coupon for $5 off a $10 purchase from my store. The first three to finish will also get a kit of their choice free from my store. Have fun and enjoy.

5) I'm another place to find the news. I'll give you freebies and tuts too. If inspiration is what you wish, just check in on me and I'll give you, all that you wish.
6) If inspiration is something you need, then come visit me. My pages and pages are sure to please. When you find me, here's all I ask. Comment on five and send the links in with the rest.
7) In the forum you will find me. I'm filled with challenges for you to best. Check them all out and finish just one. Send me the link to your layout and forum post and you are done.

9) I'm spying a thread in the forum again. One where sweetness abound and treats are left to be found. Find them forum and you will get special treat left by Designers and others for you to get. Send me the link to this area and enjoy the sweetness that you found.
10) I'm the last item on the list to spy. You will find me in the gallery and I come in all kinds of designs. Place one or more of me in your siggy and show the world you are a fan. Send me the link to where you found it.

Berry Sweet Scraps Jounaling Challenge, Customer Appreciation Days and a Sale

Have I told you lately I'm having a Back to School Sale. LOL.  If you are are like me you forget so....

So pleeeeze, drop by the store and pick up a kit or two and get scrapping on some of the challenges in the forum. Speaking of the forum, we will be having Customer Appreciation Days at BSS October 1-7 and there will be tons of fun going on. I'm hosting two events...A Make a Wish event and an I Spy Challenge both should be great fun. We will also be having a Scavenger Contest throughout the store.

But how about dropping by the forum now and checking out the fun we are having in there now. I'm hosting two challenges this month. I told you about the Calendar Challenge yesterday, so today I'm sharing the Journaling Challenge. This month I simply asked you to scrap about our own or one of our loved one's first day of school. You don't have to journal much but the more the better. Remember we are creating memories here.

LO Shares from BSS Calendar Challenge

Every year I make calendars which I give away to friends and relatives for Christmas gifts. I make next year's calendars while I'm making this year's calendar for my computer wallpaper. It's a fun project and one I've found others enjoy doing too. So....Berry Sweet Scraps created a calendar challenge to help others get their calendar grooves on too. And this month I'm hosting the challenge. While I know the month is almost over, it's not to late to grab the freebie kit and make and 2013 calendar with those Independence Day or summer photos. Last Day for iNDS at BSS

Hi Guys,

Well we've made it to the last day of our scavenger hunt and today is going to be super easy. Since next weekend is Mother's Day, simply upload a picture of a mom in your life and go to the store and find 5 kits you could use to scrap that photo. Come back here, post your picture and the links to the five kits. And you get this great prize...

Like all the prizes this weekend, it coordinates with my Featured Designer Mini Kit Freebie available on our blog.

As an extra prize today, do a layout with your mom picture and post it here and get a coupon for $2.00 off any purchase in my store. iNDS Scavenger Hunt

Beginning May 4 and each day during iNSD, I will post a hint to an item in the store, gallery, or a forum thread that will lead you to the next clue and the next (3 clues total each day). At the end of the hunt you will be asked to do a task, could be pick a favorite kit, leave x number of comments in the gallery, post a layout, introduce yourself....always something simple and post whatever your task was back here in that day's thread for a prize...could be a kit, coupon, a Quick Page, Cluster Element, etc.

Miss a day or are unable to figure out the clue without additional hints (I will give these out if I see people are having problems figuring out the clues), don't worry. You will have until May 8 at midnight to complete all the task requested. Everyone who completes all the task will be entered into a grand prize drawing where 1 lucky winner will get the kit of choice from my store and another lucky winner will be able to have a kit designed especially for and named by them.
